5000 runners turn out for High Performance London Half at the Olympic Stadium

More than 5000 runners donned their running shoes for our first High Performance challenge event.

The High Performance Foundation was the official charity partner for the London Half at the Olympic Stadium, which saw runners race around the incredibly inspiring Olympic Park passing the ArcelorMittal Orbit, Olympic Stadium, London Aquatics Centre, Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.

Alongside the adult race, a special junior race took place, which saw hundreds of young people run a shorter version of the course.

The High Performance Foundation exists to enable young people, no matter their background, to be able to write their own story and believe it’s within.

We help young people develop the skills and tools they need to build resilience today, so they can thrive tomorrow.

You can also help fuel our impact by fundraising for us. Whether that’s choosing to support us at an existing challenge or sporting event or by organising your own initiative, your support will make a lasting impact on young people. Find out more on our Get Involved section of our website.
